You will review requests, enter orders, track status, and maintain documentation while escalating issues to the Purchasing Specialist as needed. The role emphasizes accuracy, process adherence, and timely communications.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn purchasing terminology, systems, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide subcontract administrative support by reviewing request packages and coordinating approvals.
• Enter purchase orders, releases, acknowledgements, and confirmations in designated systems.
• Expedite supplier submittals and track status through to approval.
• Organize and maintain purchasing project folders with proper naming and records.
• Center on-time delivery by tracking ship dates, backorders, and delivery updates.
