ColonialWebb Contractors Company seeks a Site Material Logistics Coordinator to oversee the flow of materials and equipment on construction sites, coordinating deliveries, inventory, and site operations with Superintendents, Project Managers, Subcontractors, and Suppliers to minimize delays and boost productivity.

The role emphasizes planning logistics, maintaining stock, and ensuring safe, efficient site performance across projects in the Richmond area.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to perform unit conversions.
• Experience in construction logistics preferred.
• Ability to operate construction equipment including forklift or lull.
• Familiarity with plumbing/pipe fittings and sheetmetal materials for field orders.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced site environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials and equipment.
• Oversee multiple material handlers to ensure timely deliveries on site.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining tool inventory; daily check-in/out to personnel.
• Manage material handling tasks as needed and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Monitor consumable stock and restock when necessary.
• Communicate with Supervisors and Suppliers about back-ordered deliveries.
• Utilize logistics and material tracking software to track orders accurately.
• Cut materials and assemble subcomponents as directed.
• Work safely and encourage others to follow health and safety rules.
