Job summary

Electro Rent is seeking a Purchasing Assistant in Van Nuys, CA. This full-time, onsite role supports purchasing operations, including RMAs, purchase orders, credits, and spare parts, collaborating with Purchasing, Accounting, warehouse, and technical services teams.

You will track equipment and RMAs from start to finish, maintain records in the MRP/ERP system, and help resolve invoice and billing issues while improving processes.

Qualifications

• Must have basic data-entry and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vendor RMAs, returns, repairs, credits, and replacements.
• Create and update purchase orders for various Procure-to-Pay activities.
• Track RMAs and purchases from authorization to final closure.
• Coordinate shipments with domestic and overseas warehouses.
