Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC in Puerto Rico/USA is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. You will review invoices, resolve discrepancies, and work with SAP and Excel to ensure accurate processing of payments.

The role requires 2+ years in AP or shared services, a bachelor's degree, and strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Preference for experience with Ariba, ReadSoft, and ServiceNow, and ability to collaborate across global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area. Prefer Supply Chain/Business, Accounting but experience is most critical.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, invoice resolution, procurement, or shared services.
• Experience with SAP and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Experience with Ariba, ReadSoft, and ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• Experience with vendor master updates, supplier banking documentation, and invoice exception resolution.
• Experience supporting global operations, reporting, training, and process improvements.
• Core Competencies: Invoice resolution and exception management; Vendor master support and ticket management; Stakeholder communication and escalation handling; Data accuracy, time management, and prioritization; Cross-functional collaboration and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Point person for reviewing and solving invoice discrepancies.
• Receive and coordinate incoming Credit Hold/Shipment Hold Requests via Service Now or other intake methods.
• Create price change intake forms when the pricing is not aligned between Purchase Order and Invoice to ensure the intake is completed in accordance with standards.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Planner Buyers where support is needed to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Review Supplier Statement of Accounts and provide direct feedback and updates to the supplier which can include regular and frequent meetings based on criticality
• Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure timely posting and release of payments for past due accounts.
