Job summary

Candidates with laminate, cabinetry, millwork, furniture, or related manufacturing experience are strongly preferred.

The role emphasizes supplier relationship development, PO issuance, and close coordination with production to prevent stockouts and waste within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase laminates, substrates, adhesives, hardware, and materials.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
• Issue purchase orders and track deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and production supplies.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory transactions in ERP/MRP systems.
• Coordinate with purchasing and production to avoid stockouts.
• Develop inventory control procedures to reduce waste.
