Qualifications

• 4 year degree preferred but not required
• Degree or certificate in procurement or supply chain a plus
• Experience in manufacturing procurement, freight management or sales preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Purchases materials, supplies and/or services at favorable terms; researches and evaluates suppliers
• Maintains positive but arm's-length relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Prepares purchase orders and maintains purchasing records; manages ERP module
• Monitors inventory levels and ensures timely replenishment to avoid interruption
• Resolves issues related to returns, replacements, lost shipments, and credits
• Tracks supplier performance and flags issues to management
• Reports issues, risks, or problems to management in the purchasing function
