Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a business degree is considered a plus; Strong negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to work under deadlines

Responsibilities

• Purchase or approve all materials and supplies necessary for manufacturing parts, excluding capital equipment.
• Maintain inventory at planned levels, run material shortage reports, manage inventory, and post shear tickets.
• Negotiate material pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Work directly from requisitions, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Follow up on open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues.
• Receive material packing slips in the computer system, code invoices, and maintain records of purchases.
