Aston Carter is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support purchasing and supply chain in a heavy manufacturing environment. You will manage purchase orders, vendor communications, and sourcing initiatives while ensuring processes align with company goals.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in procurement, ERP experience (Oracle/SAP/JD Edwards), strong Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. This is a hybrid role based in Hilliard, OH.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing or high-volume production environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilize procurement software and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards) to support purchasing activities.
• Create and manage purchase orders, calculate costs, review invoices, and maintain records.
• Track goods/services to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of orders.
• Collaborate with internal departments to engage in procurement planning and sourcing strategies.
• Support RFQ processes, supplier negotiations, contract administration, and sourcing initiatives.
• Develop alternative sources of supply and monitor supplier performance.
• Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and leadership to optimize cost, quality, and service levels.
• Oversee delivery of equipment, materials, and services in compliance with contracts.
