Job summary

Beemok Hospitality Collection (BHC) seeks a Purchasing Clerk to support inventory control and purchasing processes. You will enter purchase orders, requisitions, and receipts in ADACO/Yellowdog, update item data, and assist with inventory adjustments to ensure accuracy.

The role requires attention to detail, data accuracy, and basic computer skills, with prior experience in purchasing systems preferred. This is a data-driven support position within our hospitality operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (data entry, spreadsheets, email).
• Experience with ADACO/Yellowdog or similar purchasing/inventory systems.
• Experience in purchasing, inventory control, hospitality, healthcare, or supply chain.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, invoices, and receiving processes.
• Ability to meet daily and weekly data-entry deadlines.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Willingness to learn and improve system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain purchase orders, requisitions, and receipts in ADACO/Yellowdog accurately and efficiently.
• Update item counts, descriptions, pricing, and units of measure within the system.
• Assist with inventory adjustments, transfers, and counts as needed.
• Ensure all entries comply with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Verify orders against invoices, packing slips, and receiving documentation.
• Flag discrepancies such as pricing variances or missing items.
• Maintain vendor records, including contact details and product catalogs.
• Support purchasing staff with routine administrative tasks.
• Review data for errors, duplicates, or missing information.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper records for audits and reporting.
• Follow internal controls related to purchasing and inventory management.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Accounting, and Operations teams.
• Communicate issues or system concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Provide basic reporting or data pull support from ADACO/Yellowdog when requested.
