Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Procurement Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA, to onboard vendors, process purchase orders, and coordinate payments with accounting. You will maintain the product catalog, monitor supplier performance, and support quarterly and annual inventory audits.
The role emphasizes strong vendor relations, adherence to company policies, and continuous improvement of purchasing and inventory processes to reduce costs and ensure timely delivery.
Onboard vendors to company systems for billing and invoicing. Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures and coordinate payment with the accounting department. Provide timely updates on the estimated arrival of materials to ensure proper project coordination.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding quality, quantity, or delivery of security system components.
Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.
Update the company’s extensive product catalog to reflect the most recent products and pricing. Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
Responsible for developing and maintaining an inventory management system, including monitoring inventory levels, records within ERP, coordination with warehouse staff for cycle counts and material tracking, controls and just‑in‑time delivery strategies to reduce carrying costs and waste. Will lead the quarterly and annual inventory audits. Establish the process and provide accurate valuation records to the Controller as needed.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of inventory processes.
Assist the Finance Team by participating in company audits, preparing documentation, and helping the Warehouse Coordinator on an as‑needed basis.
The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement of materials, supplies, and licenses essential to the company.
