How you make a difference
As thePurchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the flow of supplies and equipment essential to the facility’s operations. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely procurement of high-quality products, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and managing inventory to keep the facility running efficiently. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in ensuring that purchasing activities align with budget goals and operational needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Facility Purchasing Functions: Plans, coordinates, communicates, and supervises daily purchasing activities by applying relevant policies and procedures.

  • Supplier Sourcing: Sources suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, and quality to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.

  • Vendor Assessment: Assesses vendors and supports product or service selection to align with organizational needs and objectives.

  • Relationship Management: Develops and maintains strong, positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.

  • Budget Adherence: Ensures all expenditures are in line with budget parameters while collaborating with the finance team on contracts, invoicing, and financial matters.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Preferred: Three (3) years' experience purchasing experience.
  • Preferred: Familiarization with general accounting software.
  • Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
