Laredo College is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to assist the Purchasing Director with expediting and carrying out purchasing functions in accordance with Texas law and college policies.
This role logs requisitions, prepares orders, maintains PO files, and coordinates with vendors. Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills are essential, as is accuracy and timely work.
An introductory period applies and occasional shifts may be required; some duties may involve work at different campuses.
To assist the Purchasing Director in expediting and carrying out the purchasing functions in accordance with Federal, State and Local Laws and applicable College policies.

The Purchasing Clerk supervises Laredo College Federal Work-Study Employees
Reports to the Director of Purchasing
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
