Job summary

United Refrigeration, Inc. is seeking a buyer assistant for its Northeast Philadelphia HQ. This full-time, in-office role supports the purchasing team under the purchasing manager, partnering with buyers and cross-functional groups including distribution and accounts payable.

Responsibilities include maintaining stock levels across distribution centers, reconciling POs, supporting promotions and planograms, and ensuring accurate ERP data to keep product flow smooth for URI’s 400+ branches.

• Prior professional office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with replenishment buyers to manage relationships with product lines.
• Maintain stock levels across distribution centers and support branch needs.
• Reconcile POs and resolve supplier discrepancies (vendor PO confirmations, open orders, backorders, shipping errors, expediting).
• Evaluate vendor metrics including on-time delivery and fill rate.
• Ensure ERP item data accuracy (cost, sell price, descriptions).
• Support promotions, product rollouts, and planograms to ensure timely supply.
