F&S Fresh Foods is seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser Assistant for our Sacramento, CA facility. You will support daily purchasing and warehouse operations, maintain records, and assist with inventory and cost tracking.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and Excel skills, plus bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. We offer competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of purchasing or office administrative experience preferred.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily administrative support, including answering phone calls, filing, and maintaining records.
• Enter, update, and close purchase orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain product specifications, vendor approval files, and regulatory documents.
• Assist with inventory counts, tracking supplies, and placing replenishment orders.
• Update and maintain warehouse inventory and purchasing cost spreadsheets.
• Work with your immediate manager and other departments to support daily operations.
