Job summary

Fox Factory is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support buyers with all purchasing needs, data management, and report preparation.

In this role, you will ensure suppliers meet product requirements on time, place orders, manage inventory distribution, and verify documents for accuracy. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a Purchasing role preferred; Oracle experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Purchasing Manager informed of all activities or problems and submit reports as requested by management.
• Research, evaluate and purchase products.
• Ensure suppliers can fulfill product requirements on time while maintaining quality.
• Place orders and ensure inventory is properly distributed.
• Prepare purchase orders or other agreements and verify accuracy before issuing.
• Review acknowledgements for agreement with PO and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
• Follow-up or expedite orders to meet schedules.
• Answer vendor questions and provide order documentation as needed.
• Develop an efficient system for monitoring all open purchase orders.
• Work with inventory management to ensure deliveries satisfy POs and report back-ordered items.
• Support sourcing programs aligned with company guidelines and comply with laws.
