We are hiring immediately for a Purchasing Assistant position.

Location: Cleveland Clinic - 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44195

Schedule: Monday through Friday, Morning Shift

Requirements: Basic computer skills, Receiving/Purchasing experience, Knowledge of web-based ordering systems

Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Job Summary:

Oversees and coordinates activities in a storeroom or stockroom, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring proper storage and stock rotation.

Essential Duties:

1. Supervise associates handling inventory, issuing, and shipping materials.
2. Ensure stock levels are adequate and stored properly.
3. Implement FIFO system to minimize waste.
4. Plan storeroom layout considering stock turnover, size, and weight.
5. Communicate with management about stock issues.
6. Resolve inventory discrepancies.
7. Assist vendors and supervise deliveries.
8. Cover shifts for absent staff and perform other duties as assigned.
