Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Purchasing Administrator in the Manufacturing space to support day-to-day procurement, ensure timely availability of raw materials, and maintain accurate purchasing records. You will work with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Quality, and Operations to optimize supply chain efficiency.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in purchasing, strong CMMS report skills, GMP knowledge, and excellent negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a purchasing role, preferably within Manufacturing.
• Proficiency in generating and interpreting CMMS reports.
• Strong data entry skills with accuracy and efficiency.
• GMP knowledge and adherence to GMP practices.
• Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret purchasing data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all purchasing activities for materials, supplies, and services.
• Generate, review, and maintain CMMS reports to track trends and inventory.
• Perform data entry tasks ensuring accuracy and integrity of purchasing data.
• Adhere to GMP in all purchasing activities and ensure compliance with standards.
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and maintain relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast procurement needs.
• Review supplier performance and implement improvement strategies as needed.
• Assist in developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies or issues that may arise.
