Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Purchase raw materials, tooling, components, equipment, office supplies, and other operational materials.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and accurate receiving.
  • Maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers and vendors.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve pricing, delivery, quality, and other purchasing issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to maintain adequate stock.
  • Assist with negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
  • Source and evaluate new suppliers and assist with vendor qualification.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and supplier correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify and help mitigate procurement risks. Follow all Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
