Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a dedicated Punch Press Operator for its Greeneville, TN facility to safely set up and operate punch press equipment. You will produce high-quality stamped metal liners and blanks that meet customer specs and delivery schedules, while reading blueprints and routing sheets, performing quality checks, and maintaining production documentation.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, safety commitment, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and routing sheets to manage stock, scrap and returns.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure parts meet customer specs.
• Set up and operate punch presses; perform changeovers with minimal downtime.
• Complete preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Maintain safety, 6S, and accurate production documentation.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and support CI.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and wear PPE as required.
• Sets-up and operates punch press equipment to produce stamped liners and blanks.
• Forms liners per blueprints/routes, using fixtures and rollers where applicable.
• Fits weldments and positions products using jigs and fixtures.
• Communicates on the production line to maintain line efficiency and pace.
• Completes paperwork (scrap, return to stock, safety checks) accurately.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and keeps area clean and organized.
