Job summary

Donaldson is a leader in filtration technology and this 1st shift Punch Press Operator role in Dixon, IL will set up and operate punch presses to fabricate metal components per drawings.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED (or 1 year related experience) and can read blueprints, work safely in a team, and adapt to changing tasks. Shift is Monday–Thursday 4:00am–2:00pm with incentive potential and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate punch presses and related equipment to form metal per drawings
• Interpret drawing and blueprint requirements
• Use hand tools to work with material
• Count product
• Resolve routine questions, refer complex issues to a higher level
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies
• Wear designated Personal Protective Equipment
