Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and routing sheets.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good manual dexterity for daily tasks.
• Team player with ability to work with others.
• Willingness to be trained in OSHA topics like LOTO and forklift.
• Regular, predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety, DOT, HAZMAT and PPE policies; performs daily equipment inspections.
• Complete first article inspection reports using inspection techniques.
• Set up and operate punch presses; perform change-overs and adjust materials.
• Produce stamped parts per blueprints/routes.
• Complete paperwork (labor cards, production reports, JIT, CI) timely.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate effectively with department to maintain production rate.
• Use tools to complete daily tasks; maintain 6S in work area.
• Perform cycle counting for inventory accuracy.
• Work overtime as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
