Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ year of related experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and routing sheets.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; good manual dexterity.
• Willingness to work overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and PPE requirements.
• Completes first article inspection reports using various inspection techniques.
• Sets up and operates punch presses for metal parts; performs change-overs.
• Produces stamped parts per blueprints/route sheets; completes relevant paperwork.
• Performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Communicates effectively with department to maintain production rate.
• Maintains cleanliness and 6S in the work area; participates in CI initiatives.
• Performs cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Must be able to work scheduled overtime hours (weekdays/weekends).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
