Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ year of related experience (2 years in lieu of education).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and routing sheets.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and die handlers safely throughout a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain attendance and adapt to shift changes as required.
• Assist team in safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and PPE requirements.
• Complete first article inspection reports using inspection techniques and quality tools.
• Set up and operate punch presses for various metal parts.
• Perform change-overs and use hand tools to adjust equipment and materials.
• Produce stamped parts within defined quality/quantity targets.
• Complete labor cards, production reports and CI/6S paperwork.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Communicate with department to sustain production rate.
• Assist with cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Work scheduled overtime as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
