Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Punch Department Lead to supervise daily punch press operations, ensure safety, quality, and production targets, and drive continuous improvement. You will lead a skilled team, coordinate setup, maintenance, and process improvements in a hands-on leadership role.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in punch press operations, strong mechanical aptitude, and proven ability to mentor others while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of punch press operations experience.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the punch press team to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Set up and operate punch press equipment as needed; troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor punch press operators, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor work orders, materials, and equipment availability to ensure smooth production flow.
• Inspect parts and processes to ensure compliance with specifications; address quality issues promptly.
• Collaborate with supervisors, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to support production goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including production reports, setup sheets, and maintenance logs.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
