Job summary

Cadrex seeks a Press Brake Operator III to set up and operate metal bending machines in alignment with quality and production standards. The role involves tooling library management, coordinating service with maintenance, and assisting with part quotes and tooling selection.

You will train new staff, mentor peers, and contribute to safety initiatives while striving to exceed efficiency goals and quality targets in a multi-location manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos, and simple instructions.
• Knowledge of basic business math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable with training new employees and mentoring current employees to reach company standards for quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines.
• Coordinate and communicate maintenance/ servicing needs with lead and maintenance staff.
• Assist in quoting parts and selecting tooling.
• Train new employees and mentor current staff to meet quality/efficiency standards.
• Lead safety initiatives and drive lean process improvements.
