Job summary

Ampco Pumps Company is seeking an Applications Engineer in the United States. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to facilitate quoting and sizing of fluid handling equipment, providing technical expertise and solutions tailored to customer needs.

The role focuses on developing knowledge of our equipment, generating precise quotes, and supporting customers and distributors throughout the process. A strong engineering background and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical colleagues in cross-functional teams.
• Problem solving skills for determining solutions when problems arise.
• Ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable communicating with customers over the phone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of fluid handling equipment the company manufactures.
• Generate accurate and detailed quotes for customers based on requirements.
• Clarify details with customers and address inquiries about quotes.
• Serve as technical resource for end users, distributors, and sales team.
• Assist end users and distributors by troubleshooting issues and advising best practices.
• Follow housekeeping procedures and comply with quality and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
