Roper Pumps is seeking an Applications Engineer to assist customers in selecting correct pumping equipment and to provide applications support for positive displacement and related systems. The role involves coordinating manufacturing deadlines, testing, and collaborating with engineering on specialty items, including writing sales letters and proposals.

The candidate will travel ~10% to meet customer requirements, conduct field visits, and ensure orders match specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or related applications experience or three years manufacturing experience with fluid handling and progressive displacement equipment.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills are required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering principles for correct equipment selection.

Responsabilités

• Advise customers on equipment selection using company knowledge.
• Provide applications assistance for pumps and related equipment.
• Coordinate manufacturing deadlines to meet customer schedules.
• Coordinate and schedule testing and inform customers about tests/certifications.
• Work with engineering to determine requirements for specialty items; may write sales letters and proposals.
• Ensure correct products are ordered and manufactured to customer specifications.
• Participate in meetings, seminars, and trainings to stay updated.
• Conduct customer visits to verify requirements and resolve field issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
