Job summary

Amoria Bond is seeking a Product Engineer for Pumps to act as the primary technical interface for North American customers, translating regional needs into viable pump concepts while collaborating with Sales, R&D in Germany, and other teams.

The role involves design reviews, CAD modeling, tolerance calculations, and sustaining project momentum through technical presentations and reviews. Strong communication and cross‑team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least five years of combined experience in R&D, product engineering, or application engineering.
• Strong CAD skills including component design, assembly creation, technical drawings, and tolerance calculations.
• Product knowledge: Water or oil pump application, Power Train.
• Experience working directly with customers on technical requirements and product applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across international and multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical interface for North American customers in collaboration with the regional Sales and Business Development Manager.
• Evaluate customer specifications and technical requirements for RFIs and RFQs.
• Translate regional customer needs into technically viable product concepts and proposals.
• Perform design reviews, product sizing, and concept validation for mechanical and electric pump applications.
• Independently create and review CAD models, assemblies, technical drawings, and tolerance calculations.
• Lead technical reviews and support customer presentations.
• Collaborate with R&D teams in Germany on design standards, D-FMEA approvals, platform alignment, and technology transfer.
