Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) to maintain and repair pumps, troubleshoot issues, and perform service tasks safely for customers.

You’ll travel to customer sites, train junior technicians, document service, and support the Fluid division. A High School diploma and 3–5 years pump experience are required; strong mechanical skills and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining pumps of various sizes, capacities and manufacturers.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge particularly with various engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
