Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is the world’s largest equipment rental provider. We’re seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division to perform maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, troubleshoot, and ensure safe, professional service at customer sites.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repair while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll train junior technicians, document service, demonstrate equipment to customers, and travel to sites; a strong mechanical

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of pump repair and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background with engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics/diagrams.
• Own the tools for the position.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs frequently.
