United Rentals is the world’s largest equipment rental provider. We are seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division to perform maintenance tasks and minor repairs on pumps, troubleshoot, and provide safe, professional service.

You will travel to customer sites and demonstrate equipment to clients. We value a strong mechanical background, knowledge of engines, schematics, and superior customer service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pumps.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background with engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform service documentation.
• Train lower level Technicians.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Travel to customer sites.
