Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division. You will perform maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, troubleshoot and service equipment, and provide exceptional customer service to clients at the job site.

Travel to customer sites will be required; strong mechanical skills and knowledge of engines are essential. This role offers growth within the Service Department and a chance to advance to higher level Tech roles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pumps.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge with engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
