Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Project Specialist to support the North America Pulp & Energy Field Services group with lifecycle projects. You will plan and coordinate service activities related to installation and maintenance of Valmet equipment at customer sites, collaborating with Field Service, Sales, Product teams, and Project Management.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with 5+ years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to read drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting or related business field with 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to read drawings and BOMs.
• Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the request for proposal process for field service technical and mechanical services.
• Prepares technical service quotations for customers as required.
• Codes and processes Basware invoicing to appropriate charge area for all Basware invoices in the group.
• Leads backlog meetings to ensure timeliness of invoicing for projects.
• Creates service projects inside LN including field technical and turnkey projects, with advisory, parts, and labor.
