McLaren in Michigan is hiring a Full-time Medical Assistant to support patient care across a range of procedures, including vital signs, injections, venipuncture, EKGs, and immunizations, while assisting with clerical duties to keep operations efficient.

You will prepare exam rooms, organize forms for physicals, collect history, document interventions in the EMR, and collaborate with providers during visits.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 months as Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech.
• Or completion of MA/EMT/Nurse Aide/LPN/medic or PCT program.
• BLS within 6 months for Rural Health clinics.

Responsabilidades

• Respond promptly and courteously to patients and families.
• Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies; organize forms for physicals.
• Collect patient history and prepare for visits; document in EMR.
• Administer EKGs, PFTs, immunizations and venipuncture as directed.
• Phone in prescriptions and complete lab/referral forms as needed.
• Assist with gynecologic exams and routine visits.
