Summit Health Management in Bend, OR seeks a Medical Assistant (MA) in Pulmonology. You will support physicians and PAs with patient flow, rooming, vitals, and clinical procedures while maintaining accurate documentation in EHR and PMS.

Requirements include high school diploma, completion of an accredited MA or phlebotomy program, 0–1 year experience (2–4 preferred), BLS within 30 days, and good English communication. This full-time role may involve travel to satellite offices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program.
• 0–1 year related work experience required; 2–4 years preferred.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Basic proficiency in computer use.

Responsabilités

• Prepare examination rooms and assist in patient flow.
• Take vital signs and document in EHR.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and maintain supplies.
• Reconcile encounters and document allergies in EHR.
• Provide referrals and enter orders in PMS/EHR as needed.
• Provide scribing services and support care transitions.
