Summit Health Management is seeking a Medical Assistant who will support physicians and PAs with patient care, rooming patients, taking vital signs, and managing documentation in the EHR. The role includes front-office tasks, scheduling, and coordinating referrals.

Requirements include a completed MA or phlebotomy program, a high school diploma, and 0–1 year of experience (2–4 years preferred). BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program.
• 0-1 year related work experience required; 2-4 years preferred.
• BLS or within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Maintains examination rooms and supplies.
• Assists physicians/NPs with patient care and procedures.
• Manages patient flow and prepares information for visits.
• Documents patient data in the EHR accurately.
• Provides referrals and schedules appointments in PMS/EHR.
