Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments system wide for providers.
• Provides prep instructions for procedures per guidelines.
• Completes registration, demographics and insurance information.
• Handles appointment scheduling, cancellations and confirmations.
• Processes referrals and obtains necessary referrals.
• Answers patient and physician questions about appointment status.
• Coordinates slot holds/releases for upcoming requests.
• Facilitates physician-to-physician or department contact.
• Work is performed on-site in an office environment.
• Adheres to organization policies and job obligations.
