Job summary

LifeBridge Health – Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Pulmonary and Infectious Disease Unit. You will provide direct clinical care, perform age-appropriate assessments, and coordinate plan-of-care per shift.

Supervise assigned staff and support nursing leadership to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Experience in acute care, vent patients or infectious disease experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required
• Maryland RN license or eligibility required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Job description

Sinai Hospital's Pulmonary and Infectious Disease Unit is a 37-bed adult medical-surgical acute care unit specializing in chronic ventilator patients, respiratory conditions, infectious diseases, and peritoneal dialysis. It's a high-acuity, fast-paced environment caring for some of the hospital's most complex medical patients.

Summary:

Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Qualifications:

• Nursing Degree
• Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• Basic Life Support Certification

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
