Job summary

Sinai Hospital's ICU is a 29-bed critical care unit within a Level II Trauma Center, caring for highly complex medical, neuro, and surgical patients. Under the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical care on a per-shift basis, with supervision of staff and support to the CNO to ensure safe and high-quality nursing care and efficient resource management.

Sinai Hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 29-bed critical care unit within a Level II Trauma Center, caring for the hospital's most complex medical, neuro, and surgical patients. RNs complete daily interdisciplinary rounds with medical, neuro, and surgical intensivists at a 1:2 ratio, building advanced critical care skills across a broad range of high-acuity cases.

Summary:

Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Qualifications:

• Nursing Degree
• Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• Basic Life Support Certification

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
