Sweetwater Care in Stockton, CA is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to lead our Pulmonary Program as Program Manager. Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of respiratory therapy experience in hospital, skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or related healthcare environment.
• Experience providing respiratory treatments and managing residents with complex respiratory needs.
• Strong understanding of respiratory equipment, oxygen therapy, pulmonary interventions, and respiratory disease management.
• Knowledge of skilled nursing regulations, procedures, and requirements related to resident care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning as a collaborative member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to take initiative and follow through.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, physicians, medical providers, and facility leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the facility's Pulmonary Program.
• Work with nursing and clinical staff to implement pulmonary interventions.
• Evaluate residents in the Pulmonary Program and monitor progress.
• Review pulmonary-related orders and resident participation regularly.
• Collaborate with medical providers to set program goals and duration.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and resident goal setting.
• Monitor program outcomes and provide reports to leadership.
• Partner with Infection Prevention and Control to monitor infections and collect data.
