Trinity Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for a day shift in Des Moines. You will perform routine MA duties, assist with procedures, and document patient interactions in the electronic medical record under provider supervision.

The role requires completion of an accredited medical assistant program and CMA or RMA certification within the first year, with BLS current or obtained within three months of hire.

Qualificações

• Successful completion of a medical assistant program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Clinic/physician office experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider required within three months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with procedures, exams and operation of diagnostic equipment.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Support urgent/emergent patient needs and participate in emergency procedures as needed.
• Facilitate communication among health care team and educate patients and families.
• Maintain aseptic technique and prepare medications and rooms for exams.
