UCI Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff in patient care across Orange and Irvine locations. The role focuses on vital signs, patient hygiene, and maintaining a safe, clean unit environment.

The candidate should have CNA or LVN credentials or be enrolled in a nursing program with clinical exposure, plus current BLS and weekend/holiday availability. Strong communication is essential.

Formación

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must float between Orange and Irvine locations as needed.
• Must be certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) or LVN or enrolled in accredited nursing program with at least 1 clinical semester.
• Must read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate in a therapeutic way.
• Experience in patient care, preferably in acute care.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist patients with hygiene and elimination.
• Maintain a clean and safe unit environment.
• Stock unit supplies and operate hospital equipment as directed.
• Perform routine clerical tasks and assist with related duties.
