Atlantic Medical Group in Hackettstown, NJ seeks a Certified Medical Assistant I for full-time day shifts in the Pulmonology practice. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under physician supervision, support clinic operations, and assist with exams, records, and patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• National Certification CCMA from: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT.
• Associate's degree in Medical Care or related field.
• 1 year of experience in Health Care services.
• 2+ years experience in outpatient/ambulatory setting.
• BLS on hire.
• EPIC or similar EMR system.
• Ability to work within computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake and update medical records.
• Record vital signs and collect specimens; assist with examinations.
• Assist with walk-in and scheduled clinic visits; ensure data accuracy.
• Guide patients through the health care system and scheduling.
• Maintain patient rooms; prepare exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Provide emotional support per care plan; assist referrals as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
