Atlantic Health System's AMG Pediatrics in Metuchen & Scotch Plains, NJ is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant I for full-time day shifts. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under physician supervision, support clinical operations, and participate in the care team to ensure high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• National Certification as Medical Assistant (CCMA) from approved bodies.
• Preferred: Associate degree in medical care or related field.
• 1+ year healthcare experience; BLS on hire; EPIC EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake, update medical records, and record vital signs.
• Record medical information and test results; collect specimens.
• Assist with walk-in and scheduled visits; ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor accreditation readiness and clinic scheduling.
• Provide patient navigation and emotional support per care plan.
• Assist with referrals to specialists and other duties as assigned.
