Job summary

Audiochuck is seeking a QC & Publishing Ops Manager in Indianapolis to lead a small team and own content delivery across podcast, video, VOD, and streaming platforms. You will standardize publishing workflows, align with post-production and marketing, and drive accuracy and on-time publishing.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in QC/publishing operations and 3+ years of people management, with hands-on experience in Simplecast, RSS feeds, and FAST/AVOD distribution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in QC and publishing operations, digital distribution, or media operations at a digital media company, podcast network, or streaming service.
• 3+ years of people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to develop and lead a small team.
• Hands-on experience managing content delivery across podcast hosting, AVOD (Tubi or similar), and FAST or linear channel distribution.
• Strong working knowledge of video file formats, codec specs, closed captioning standards, and platform delivery requirements.
• Experience managing RSS podcast feeds and hosting platforms such as Simplecast or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of two QC & Publishing Ops Coordinators through regular 1:1s, goal setting, and professional growth support.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and workflows to ensure accountability and minimize duplicated effort.
• Own the content distribution process across Simplecast, Tubi, our FAST channel, and other distribution partners.
• Set standards for MRSS feed accuracy across AVOD and FAST distribution partners.
• Report on platform performance, including on-time publish rate, failed or late deliveries, QC error rate, and EPG accuracy.
• Foster a culture of accuracy, ownership, and continuous improvement.
