Job summary

The City of Conroe is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform labor-intensive work on streets and drainage systems, and to assist the operator as needed. This role requires on-call responsiveness and availability for emergency responses at any hour.

You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and obtain a Texas Class A CDL within six months of hire. Lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance is required. Safety gear and after-hours training may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; valid Texas CDL-A within six months.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and stand for long periods.
• Must be available for on-call duty and respond during emergencies.

Responsibilities
