Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires valid Texas driver license.
• Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience.
• Ability to operate tractor and landscaping equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and mowing equipment.
• Maintain appearance of District grounds by mowing, trimming, and weed-eating.
• Provide support for other crafts as directed.
• Correct unsafe conditions and report issues to supervisor.
• Keep tools and equipment in safe condition and perform preventive maintenance.
• Operate equipment according to safety procedures.
• Follow safety procedures including lifting, climbing, etc.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed and be on-call as assigned by supervisor.
