Job summary

The City of Seattle seeks a Project Delivery Manager to lead a new Project Delivery group within Facility Operations. You will oversee contracting compliance, consultant procurement, and regulatory programs while coordinating with Facility Maintenance and Asset Planning to deliver capital projects and improve audit readiness.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in public works contracting, team leadership, and complex vendor‑performed projects in a public sector setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in project delivery, Public Works contracting, consultant procurement, regulatory compliance, and facilities‑related capital work.
• Ability to build teams, coordinate with maintenance operations, and manage complex vendor‑performed projects in a public‑sector environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as FO’s contracting compliance authority for small‑ to mid‑level projects in line with City guidelines.
• Maintain FO’s consultant contracting program, including scope development and amendments.
• Oversee regulatory documentation and audit readiness for safety and compliance programs.
• Coordinate with maintenance operations on shutdowns, access, and operational impacts.
• Ensure project documentation and asset updates are integrated into FO data systems.
