Job summary

The Town of Parker seeks a Maintenance Worker to maintain parks, cemetery, streets, alleys and landscaped areas under the supervision of the Public Works Supervisor. Duties include pruning, mowing, irrigation, equipment maintenance, street repairs, sign maintenance, building upkeep, and operation of equipment such as mowers, tractors, and street sweepers.

Requires 2 years of maintenance experience and a valid Arizona driver’s license, with background check and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in general maintenance work.
• Must have Arizona driver's license at appointment and maintain it.
• Ability to pass extensive background check.
• Must obtain fingerprint clearance card and pass drug test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parks, cemetery, streets, alleys, and landscaped areas.
• Prune trees, trim shrubs, mow, edge, and perform trash/weed control.
• Assist with irrigation, fencing, base/plate/anchor work, and field maintenance.
