Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of construction, maintenance, and repair experience or related equipment operation.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and maps.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of safety rules, hazards, and equipment operation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair work, plumbing, landscaping, and repair of equipment.
• Operates light, medium, and heavy equipment, including trucks and trailers.
• Maintains daily work records and may perform data entry.
• Explains and enforces safety rules and park regulations to the public.
• Transports and sets up supplies and equipment; conducts safety checks.
• Responds to citizen requests and maintains park facilities in safe condition.
